Bette wanted to have her maternity session up near some trails that have been special to her family for years! I love photographing at locations that are special for my clients, because it makes the images that much more meaningful!
The interesting thing about trails in Roanoke is that they’re normally up in the mountains…which means the trail might be bright during the first half of the day, and then turn very dark during the second half of the day as the sun starts to descend past the peak of the mountain! We figured out that this trail was a ‘morning light’ trail, so I met the McNamaras for a ‘sunrise’ session on a beautiful Saturday morning!
One of the first things little 'B' asked me when we started taking photos was if I could take a few photos of her ‘twirling’! (Is that not the sweetest thing you’ve ever heard?!) :) I love her ‘twirling’ shots, and just about every one of her! She is so sweet, and so photogenic!
