Sometimes all of the pieces fall into place perfectly, and you just know a session was meant to happen! That’s exactly how it was for Grace’s senior session! Grace’s mom contacted me in June about Grace’s senior portraits, but they only had a very small window of time for the session, because Grace is traveling all summer!

It just so happened we had ONE day that worked on both of our calendars, so we went ahead and booked her session and crossed our fingers for good weather! That Friday rolled around, and the forecast was calling for storms all day long!! I was so worried about it, because I knew we had to make this day work for Grace!!

As we pulled up to the beautiful Hollins University campus, there were huge, dark storm clouds all around! But as we were shooting, it was like we were in our own little ‘bubble’! We didn’t have a drop of rain the entire time!!!! Whew! ;)

Grace’s mom used to work at Hollins, so she & Grace scoped out the campus before her session to pick out a few of their favorite spots for her photos! They chose some beautiful locations that were tucked away in little areas of the campus!

I had so much fun chatting with Grace & her mom during Grace’s session, and you can see her sweet personality shining through in all of these photos!
